I watched a documentary which aired on the History Channel on people who have had sex changes because they were born with too many female hormones, thus making them feel more like a woman than what God had created them to be. The show referred to them as, 'transexuals'. The documentary focused on the struggles that these men went through growing up as children. We know that children can be pretty cruel so I'm not doubting the 'pain, suffering, and humiliation' they went through. What I'm questioning is the parents!
The world is lost and perishing in their sin because of the blind folds they 'choose' to live in. Now, lets clear something up quick: blindfolds in scripture refers to the Jewish people and the hardness of their hearts; I'm not meaning to take anything out of 'biblical' context here. The similarities are very similar.
Most people go through living life just as they did when they grew up. Parental guidance (positive or negative), influence, family customs, and religion are what shape up our future. The only thing that separates us from them, is: our choices. A family usually clings to their heritage and upbringing as good and wholesome and most die in that state. During their lifetime they chose to spurn the holy spirits correction and leading to accept Jesus as their savior. Their heart hardens with each rebelling act of disobedience. We not only give birth to our children according to our seed, but also in word and deed. This can and sometimes manifests itself in birth through children born with 'down syndrome', and handicaps of all kinds. It can be God's way of showing us what our parents sin looks like to Him through us by our infirmities. Still no matter how we're born, when we reach the age of accountability and choose to take responsibilty for our actions, we can experience God's love in many different ways, leading us to salvation; but only after we have chosen to forsake the ungodly influences in our life. This brings healing in all areas of life: spiritually, physically, emotional, and mentally to form us into a new creation. Glory!!! I get excited and sometimes long winded when I talk about God and what He has done in my life and what I know He can do in others.
So why are these people having sex changes, is it because the gay community is right about being born gay? No, its not! It's all bout a 6 letter word= choice. The devil is hard at work in the minds of those who choose not to believe God's written and revealed word. The act of changing sex is a perversion in the highest degree. Still, it is only a sinful lifestyle, just like being a drunk, a rapist, murderer ect. With God, sin is sin, there is no partiality period!!! The answer: deal with your sin state first; repent, and accept Jesus as the propitiation for your sins; live holy and offer your bodies as living sacrifices unto God which is your reasonable service.
